• Initially the concrete will be prepared by grinding with metal bonded diamond tooling to remove any existing buildups of glue, adhesive, paint or coatings. During this phase, required patching and joint fill will be completed.
• Following the initial preparation step, several diamond grinding steps are done in order to prepare the concrete for the polishing steps.
• Before polishing begins, our liquid chemical densifiers are applied to ensure the concrete floor is hardened and will resist absorption of liquids, and not produce concrete dust once the floor is complete.
• Polishing of the concrete floor is a multi-step process of using specialized resin diamond tooling. These steps increase in finer and finer grits of diamond tooling to ultimately produce the finished floor surface desired.(no waxes or polymers)
